The Web Designer's Idea Book

I received my copy of The Web Designer's Idea Book, by Patrick McNeil, yesterday in the mail. I was excited to see one of my designs (albeit an old one) published in a book. It took awhile to find it since there were so many examples, but there it was on page 148. As I thumbed through the book to the page, I almost forgot what my goal was as I got lost in the beauty of each individual site.
Of course, one way to sell a book is to put other people's work in it, but the thing is, it's not a bad book. It's a good book. It's a great resource for inspiration if you're in a creative rut. The best part about it is that it's a collection of modern websites that apply to today's design standards, not some ancient collection of Web 1.0 artifacts.
What I like best about The Web Designer's Idea Book is the way it's broken out into different categories. This provides a quick reference for different styles you are trying to achieve.
If you're looking for the next book to adorn your resource shelf, I would recommend The Web Designer's Idea Book by Patrick McNeil of designmeltdown.com. It's available at Amazon.com.
